If you are getting an invalid code error when entering the correct 2FA code, please try the below steps:
Step 1: Sync your device time
2FA codes are time-based, so this error often happens when the date/time on your phone is not set automatically. To correct this:
On iPhone (iOS):
Settings → General → Date & Time → Enable “Set Automatically”
On Android:
Settings → System → Date & Time → Enable “Use network-provided time”
Once your device time is set correctly, please follow the steps below to remove and re-add the 2FA entry.
Step 2: Remove the existing 2FA entry
Google Authenticator
- Open Google Authenticator.
- Find the ZinioAdmin entry.
- Swipe left → tap the trash/bin icon.
- Confirm by selecting “Remove account.”
Microsoft Authenticator
- Open Microsoft Authenticator.
- Locate the ZinioAdmin entry.
- Tap the three dots (…) or settings icon.
- Select “Remove account.”
- Confirm when prompted.
Step 3: Re-set your 2FA
- Visit https://zen-admin.zinio.com/publisher-login and sign in.
- Scan the QR code shown on the screen using your authenticator app.
- Enter the new 6-digit code generated by the app to complete login.
